1. A method of operating a network node, the network node operating according to a first radio access technology, (RAT), the method comprising:
selecting a Demodulation Reference Signaling (DMRS) pattern from a set of DMRS patterns based at least in part on a capability indication, the capability indication indicating a capability of a user equipment to select a DMRS pattern from the set of DMRS patterns based at least in part on a coordination indication, the coordination indication indicating a presence of cell-specific reference signals (CRS) associated to a second RAT, the selected DMRS pattern corresponding to the coordination indication; and
transmitting signaling comprising communication signaling and DMRS in a transmission resource pattern, the DMRS being arranged in the transmission resource pattern according to the DMRS pattern.
