1. A method of dual equilibrium battery cell management for a battery having a set of battery cells comprising:
determining if an active equilibrium battery management approach should be used based on an output from an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based non-parametric algorithm, the output relating to a state of charge (SOC) capacity of each battery cell; and
changing battery cell management from a passive equilibrium battery management approach to the active equilibrium battery management approach.
