1. An electro-optical (EO) system with dynamic photosite (PS) usability assessment, the system comprising:
a photodetector array (PDA) comprising a plurality of PSs, each PS operative to output detection signals for different frames, the detection signal output for a frame by the respective photosite being indicative of an amount of light impinging on the respective PS during a respective frame exposure time (FET);
a usability filtering module operative to first determine for each PS of the plurality of PSs that the PS is unusable based on a first FET, and to later determine that the PS is usable based on a second FET that is shorter than the first FET; and
a processor operative to generate images based on frame detection levels of the plurality of PSs, wherein the processor is configured to:
exclude, when generating a first image based on first frame detection levels, a first detection signal of a filtered PS that was determined by the usability filtering module as unusable for the first image, and
include, when generating a second image based on second frame detection levels captured by the PDA after the capturing of the first frame detection levels, a second detection signal of the filtered PS that was determined by the usability filtering module as usable for the second image.
