1. A merchant computing system, the system comprising:
a merchant input/output assembly comprising a biometric scanner and a contactless card reader, the merchant input/output assembly configured to receive, via wireless communication, universal reference numbers from a physical payment card associated with a customer device;
a merchant database retrievably storing a plurality of universal reference numbers and customer information associated with each of the plurality of universal reference numbers, wherein the plurality of universal reference numbers include (i) a first universal reference number of the physical payment card associated with a first level of security, and (ii) a second universal reference number of the physical payment card associated with a second level of security, the first universal reference number stored in association with a first respective set of data relating to the customer device and the second universal reference number stored in association with a respective second set of data relating to the customer device; and
a transaction circuit configured to:
access, via a first channel in a chip of the physical payment card, using the contactless card reader of the merchant input/output assembly, a first authentication procedure and the first universal reference number of the customer device, wherein the first authentication procedure requires entry of information via the merchant input/output assembly and is associated with the first level of security;
present, via the merchant input/output assembly, a request for a personal identifier to satisfy the first authentication procedure;
receive, responsive to presenting the request for the personal identifier, the personal identifier via the merchant input/output assembly, wherein the personal identifier is authenticated to satisfy the first authentication procedure;
access, via a second channel in the chip of the physical payment card, using the contactless card reader of the merchant input/output assembly, second authentication procedures and the second universal reference number of the customer device, wherein the second authentication procedures include two or more authentication procedures and are associated with the second level of security;
present, via the merchant input/output assembly, a request for user biometric information to satisfy the second authentication procedures;
receive, responsive to presenting the request for the user biometric information, the user biometric information via the biometric scanner of the merchant input/output assembly, wherein the user biometric information is authenticated to satisfy the second authentication procedure;
retrieve, from the merchant database based on the first universal reference number and the second universal reference number, responsive to confirming that the first authentication procedures and the second authentication procedures are satisfied, each of the first respective set of data relating to the customer device and the respective second set of data relating to the customer device; and
present, via the merchant input/output assembly, a user interface relating to a transaction based on the first respective set of data relating to the customer device and the second respective set of data relating to the customer device.
