1. A system configured to provide a dashboard within a collaboration environment, the system comprising:
one or more physical computer processors configured by machine-readable instructions to:
manage environment state information for maintaining a collaboration environment, the environment state information including user records and work unit records, the user records describing users interacting with or viewing the collaboration environment, the work unit records describing units of work created, managed, or assigned within the collaboration environment, wherein a set of the users are associated with individual units of work without being assigned to the individual units of work, and an other set of the users are associated with the individual units of work because they are assigned to the individual units of work;
identify a first set of units of work associated with a first user, wherein the first set of units of work is associated with the first user without the first user being assigned to the first set of units of work such that one or more other ones of the users are assigned to the first set of units of work; and
based on identifying the first set of units of work and by virtue of the first user being associated with the first set of units of work without being assigned to the first set of units of work, effectuate presentation of a dashboard on a computing platform associated with the first user, the dashboard displaying work information for the first set of units of work associated with the first user, the work information for the first set of units of work describing the first set of units of work and the one or more other ones of the users that are assigned to the first set of units of work.
