1. A temperature indicator having a liquid crystal structure, comprising:
a top layer, a backing layer, and a compartment disposed between the top layer and the backing layer, the compartment containing temperature sensitive liquid crystals;
a mask disposed on the top layer and comprising a first mask portion and a second mask portion,
the first mask portion being configured to:
filter out a first portion of a first color of light while allowing a first portion of a second color of light to pass through the first mask portion; and
form a third color of light comprising a first remaining portion of the first color of light and the first portion of the second color of light;
the second mask portion being configured to:
filter out a second portion of the first color of light; and
form a fourth color of light comprising a second remaining portion of the first color of light and the second color of light.
