1. A method of manufacturing a multilayer glass stack, comprising:
forming an external-facing glass layer comprising borosilicate; and
adhering the external-facing glass layer to an internal-facing glass layer with an adhesive interlayer comprising an adhesive to form a multilayer glass stack;
wherein the multilayer glass stack comprises a viewing area comprising an optical distortion of at most 250 millidiopters, and
wherein the multilayer glass stack has at most a 10% chance of failure with an impact of 2 J.
