1. A surrogate model computing (SMC) system comprising:
a user computing device comprising a user interface;
a database; and
a processor communicatively coupled to said user computing device and said database, said processor executing instructions that cause said processor to:
receive, from said user computing device, a workflow request;
identify an application in said database required to complete the workflow request;
retrieve, from said database, the application and meta-data associated with the application;
determine that a user has proper tenancies to use the application;
store a pre-workflow configuration of an external computing device;
configure the external computing device from the pre-workflow configuration to a workflow configuration for execution of a workflow associated with the workflow request based on the meta-data;
execute, using the application on the external computing device while the external computing device is in the workflow configuration, the workflow;
re-configure the external computing device to the pre-workflow configuration upon completion of the workflow;
generate, based on execution of the workflow request, new meta-data associated with the application;
receive, from said user computing device, feedback regarding execution of the workflow request;
include the feedback in the new meta-data; and
transmit the new meta-data to said database.
