1. A hydrofinished lubricant boiling range composition comprising aromatics wherein at least a portion of the aromatics are 3-ring aromatics, the lubricant boiling range composition having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of at least 2 cSt, a total aromatics content of 0.3 wt. % to 1.5 wt. %, and a 3-ring aromatics content of 0.035 wt. % or less.
