1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a wireless device from a wireless access network node, an indication of a supported extended emergency information (EEI) type supported by a wireless local area network (WLAN), wherein the indication is received from the wireless access network node that is a WLAN access point (AP) or a radio access network (RAN) node,
wherein the supported EEI type is selected from among a plurality of different EEI types, and the supported EEI type indicates use of a BLUETOOTH address as a location information; and
sending, by the wireless device, a message relating to an emergency call, the message including EEI data according to the supported EEI type, wherein the message comprises a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message to initiate the emergency call.
