1. A receiving method comprising:
receiving a transmission frame;
generating a plurality of encoded bit sequences by demodulating transmission symbols allocated to the transmission frame; and
performing a decoding process on each of the plurality of encoded bit sequences to generate a plurality of information bit sequences by using one decoding scheme selected from a predetermined decoding scheme set, wherein
the predetermined decoding scheme set includes first decoding schemes corresponding to first coding schemes of a first code length and second decoding schemes corresponding to second coding schemes of a second code length, code rates of the first coding schemes are different from each other, code rates of the second coding schemes are different from each other, and
in the decoding process:
when the plurality of encoded bit sequences are generated by a first encoding process, the decoding process is performed on the plurality of encoded bit sequences by using one first decoding scheme selected from the first decoding schemes;
when the plurality of encoded bit sequences are generated by a second encoding process, the decoding process is performed on the plurality of encoded bit sequences by using one second decoding scheme selected from the second decoding schemes;
the first encoding process includes (i) generating a first code word as the encoded bit sequence from the information bit sequence according to a parity check matrix for one first coding scheme selected from the first coding schemes; and
the second encoding process includes (i) generating a second code word from the information bit sequence according to a parity check matrix for one second coding scheme selected from the second coding schemes, (ii) discarding a part of the second code word to generate a third code word, and (iii) outputting the third code word as the encoded bit sequence.
