1. A power tool having a brushless motor, the brushless motor comprising:
a stator including a tubular stator core having a plurality of teeth that protrude radially inwardly from an inner side of the stator core, an electrically insulating member affixed to a first end of the stator core, and a plurality of coils respectively wound around the plurality of teeth and the electrically insulating member;
a rotor including a rotor core disposed in an interior of the tubular stator core, a plurality of permanent magnets and a rotary shaft fixed to the rotor core and having a rotational axis;
a plurality of terminals supported by the electrically insulating member, the terminals being respectively electrically connected to the coils; and
a sensor-circuit board supported by the first electrically insulating member;
wherein:
the electrically insulating member is bounded by and entirely disposed between a first plane perpendicular to the rotational axis and a second plane perpendicular to the rotational axis,
the sensor-circuit board is located between the first plane and the second plane and includes a body portion having a central opening and a plurality of legs extending radially from the body portion, and
the rotary shaft extends through the central opening.
