1. A method of collecting patient data, the method comprising:
(a) sensing an event within a healthcare facility via an environmental sensor system associated with the healthcare facility, wherein the event is based at least in part on movement of a person within the healthcare facility;
(b) based on sensing the event, automatically starting a timer; and
(c) upon expiration of the timer, automatically actuating a blood pressure data collection system to obtain blood pressure measurement of a patient disposed in a room of the healthcare facility.
