1. A method for error handling in a geometric correction engine (GCE), the method comprising:
receiving configuration parameters by the GCE;
generating, by the GCE in accordance with the configuration parameters, output blocks of an output frame based on corresponding blocks of an input frame;
detecting, by the GCE, whether a run-time error occurred during the generating;
based on the run-time error, correcting, by the GCE, a value that has exceeded a boundary such that the corrected value is at the boundary; and
reporting, by the GCE, an event corresponding to the run-time error.
