1. A method comprising:
providing, by a central document system, a plug-in to a client device, the plug-in configured to enable a user to include a signature tag marker within an editable document displayed within a word processing application interface of a word processing application;
receiving, by the central document system, the editable document including the signature tag marker added at a location within the editable document;
generating, by the central document system, a second document that is a non-editable version of the editable document that does not include the signature tag marker;
identifying, by the central document system, a second location within the second document that corresponds to the location within the editable document; and
transmitting, by the central document system, a request to a signing entity to sign the second document at the second location.
