1. A method for user authentication, the method comprising:
determining an authentication level for a certain user transaction, the authentication level indicating a two-factor authentication, the certain user transaction initiated at a user device of a user;
in response to determining that a first factor authentication of the two-factor authentication is completed, initiating an object recognition-based second factor authentication;
providing a plurality of selectable options to the user device, wherein the plurality of selectable options includes a certain selectable option that corresponds to information related to one or more previous locations of the user device, wherein the providing the plurality of the selectable options is a part of the object recognition-based second factor authentication; and
determining whether to authenticate the user based on a user selection of one of the plurality of the selectable options.
