1. A method comprising, by a computing system:
determining, based on an eye tracking system, an estimated distance of an eye of a user to a display plane of a display;
accessing a plurality of correction maps corresponding to a plurality of reference distances to the display plane of the display;
selecting a first reference distance and a second reference distance from the plurality of reference distances based on the estimated distance;
generating a custom correction map for the user based on an interpolation of at least a first correction map corresponding to the first reference distance and a second correction map corresponding to the second reference distance;
adjusting an image to be displayed on the display using the custom correction map, wherein the custom correction map corrects non-uniformity of the display as viewed from the eye of the user; and
displaying the image adjusted using the custom correction map on the display.
