a light assembly coupled to the main body, the light assembly including a light housing and a light source supported by the light housing, the light housing being pivotable and rotatable relative to the main body;
a battery support portion configured to selectively receive a battery, the battery support portion disposed at the first end of the main body; and
a clamp assembly coupled to the second end of the main body, the clamp assembly having a first member configured to be grasped for carrying and maneuvering the utility light and a second member that is linearly moveable relative to the first member;
wherein the light assembly is disposed above the battery support portion and below the second end of the main body with respect to a direction along the length of the main body, and
wherein the second member of the clamp assembly is movable between a retracted position, in which the second member is adjacent the main body, and an extended position, in which a gap is defined between the second member and the main body.
