1. A two-dimensional metal-organic framework comprising:
a first transition metal;
a second transition metal;
a linker group; and
a capping agent,
wherein the first transition metal is Co, the second transition metal is Ni, the linker group is benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid, and the capping agent is pyridine,
wherein the first transition metal and the second transition metal are coupled by the linker group, and
the two-dimensional metal-organic framework comprises two or more layers separated by the capping agent.
