1. A gear motor comprising:
a motor configured to rotate at an output rotating speed of 1000 rpm or less; and
a speed reducer configured to reduce the output rotating speed of the motor at a reduction ratio of 30 or less,
wherein the motor comprises:
a stator comprising a coil and a stator core,
a motor cover that is disposed, in an axial direction, on a side of the stator opposite to the speed reducer, and
a rotor comprising a shaft portion,
wherein the motor cover includes a rear surface wall portion and an inner peripheral wall portion protruding from an inner peripheral end of the rear surface wall portion toward the rotor in the axial direction,
wherein a hollow portion of the inner peripheral wall portion communicates with a hollow structure of the shaft portion,
wherein the shaft portion of the rotor does not penetrate the inner peripheral wall portion of the motor cover in the axial direction, wherein the shaft portion is integrally formed as a single member with an input shaft of the speed reducer, and
wherein the inner peripheral wall portion of the motor cover does not penetrate the shaft portion of the rotor in the axial direction.
