A method of treating a bacterial infection in a subject, the method comprising administering to the subject at least one peptide selected from the group consisting of: ASU2001 (SEQ ID NO: 1), ASU2009 (SEQ ID NO:2), ASU2019 (SEQ ID NO: 3), ASU2056 (SEQ ID NO: 4), ASU2059 (SEQ ID NO: 5), and ASU2060 (SEQ ID NO: 6).
