1. A surgical driver apparatus to manipulate an expandable intervertebral implant, comprising:
a housing;
an inner driver shaft configured to rotate with respect to the housing;
an outer driver shaft positioned coaxial with the inner driver shaft and configured to rotate independently from the inner driver shaft;
an idler driver shaft mechanically connected to the outer driver shaft, wherein rotation of the idler driver moves the outer driver shaft; and
a driver key comprising a driving feature and a counter-driving feature, wherein the driver key is configured to engage the housing to rotate at least one of the inner driver shaft and the outer driver shaft, wherein the driver key is configured to engage the housing in:
a first orientation to expand the implant toward a parallel expansion configuration;
a second orientation to expand the implant toward an anterior expansion configuration; and
a third orientation to expand the implant toward a posterior expansion configuration.
