1. An apparatus comprising:
a transceiver configured to communicate via an uplink channel and a downlink channel concurrently;
a first number of transmit antennas;
a second number of receive antennas;
an equalizer configured to, for at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas:
input a first digital transmit signal to be transmitted by at least one transmit antenna of the first number of transmit antennas, through a forward path model including a non-linear component corresponding to a transmit path in the transceiver to generate a first digital transformed transmit signal, and
apply an equalizer function to the first digital transformed transmit signal to determine a self-interference (SI) estimate; and
self-interference cancel (SIC) circuitry configured to, for the at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas, subtract the SI estimate from a digital receive signal corresponding to an analog signal received via at least one receive antenna of the second number of receive antennas to obtain a residual signal.
