1. A method of driving a display device in a low frequency driving mode, the method comprising:
displaying a first still image on a display panel at a first driving frequency during a first period, the first driving frequency being lower than a normal driving frequency at which a moving image is displayed on the display panel in a normal frequency driving mode;
displaying a second still image that is different from the first still image on the display panel at a second driving frequency during a second period following the first period, the second driving frequency being lower than the normal driving frequency; and
displaying the second still image on the display panel at one or more transition frequencies during an image transition period between the first period and the second period.
