an elastic cylindrical electronic sleeve formed by a tubular wall of flexible material having a diameter and a length greater than the diameter, the sleeve having a top unobstructed open end and a bottom unobstructed open end;
a microprocessor and associated circuitry encapsulated entirely within a thickness of the wall of the electronic sleeve, the circuitry including at least wireless communications capability;
at least one battery encapsulated within the thickness of the wall providing power to the microprocessor and the circuitry;
at least one LED at least partially encapsulated within the wall of the electronic sleeve and visible from outside of the wall; and
at least one sound emitter at least partially encapsulated within a wall of the electronic sleeve;
characterized in that the electronic sleeve is not involved in an operation process of the emergency medication dispensing device and activates any one or more of the LED and sound emitter in response to a command signal.
