1. A method, comprising:
rendering, by a processor, using a shader function, an object of interest with a first color, wherein the shader function determines processing related to each pixel in a scene displayed on a viewport that is rendered using lighting input and material configuration;
rendering, using the shader function, the remainder of the scene displayed on the viewport with a second color;
determining a count of pixels rendered with the first color to determine a percentage of the object of interest displayed on the viewport;
wherein the method determines the percentage of the object of interest in a single pass of a rendering pipeline.
