1. A pressure relief valve (PRV) for underwater high pressure use, comprising:
a plunger assembly having a one-piece conical sealing surface including a thin, pliant area for deflecting at high pressures to aid in sealing, with one or more grooves formed along the conical sealing surface;
one or more 0-rings disposed in the one or more grooves formed along the conical sealing surface; and
a high pressure housing assembly including a housing seating surface against which the conical sealing surface of the plunger assembly and the one or more 0-rings seats.
