1. A fiber body forming method comprising:
adding a compound represented by the following formula (1) to a raw material containing fibers;
forming a defibrated material by defibrating the raw material to which the compound is added;
adding a binding material to the defibrated material;
depositing, on a web forming portion, the defibrated material to which the binding material is added; and
heating the defibrated material after depositing the defibrated material on the web forming potion,

wherein in the formula, R represents an alkyl or an alkenyl group having 6 to 22 carbon atoms or an alkylaryl group including an alkyl group which has 4 to 20 carbon atoms, E represents an ethylene group, P represents a propylene group, m and n each represent an average number of added moles, m represents the average number of 0 to 20, n represents the average number of 1 to 10, and (EO)m(PO)n represents a block addition structure.
