1. An adjustable-incline climbing wall assembly comprising:
a. a climbing wall comprising:
i. one or more climbing panels configured to receive a plurality of climbing grips to provide a climbing surface, and
ii. a wall frame supporting the one or more climbing panels; and
b. a system for adjusting an incline of the climbing wall, the system comprising:
i. a base configured to support the climbing wall in a raised position relative to a ground surface,
ii. an upper unit comprising an inner unit hingedly connected to an outer unit, the upper unit configured to permit adjustment of the incline of the climbing wall so that the climbing wall may be positioned at a plurality of incline angles within a permitted range, wherein the upper unit is coupled to both the climbing wall and a support wall of a room in which the adjustable-incline climbing wall assembly is located, and wherein the upper unit is coupled to the support wall at a fixed vertical location by one or more wall mounts affixed to the support wall at that fixed vertical location;
wherein the base comprises a front surface at an end of the base positioned farthest from the support wall;
wherein the lower edge of the climbing wall is hingedly connected to a top of the base at the end of the base unit positioned farthest from the support wall; and
wherein the adjustable-incline climbing wall assembly is configured so that forces placed on the climbing wall during use in an inclined position are transferred at least partially into the support wall.
