1. An information processing apparatus, comprising:
an image sensor configured to capture a current image at a specific point of time;
a direction sensor configured to detect a direction of movement of the information processing apparatus;
a position sensor configured to detect a position of the information processing apparatus; and
a central processing unit (CPU) configured to:
extract a plurality of first feature points from the current image;
compare the plurality of first feature points of the current image and a plurality of second feature points of a reference image, wherein a time of capture of the reference image corresponds to the specific point of time;
determine, based on the comparison of the plurality of first feature points and the plurality of second feature points, a number of feature points of the plurality of first feature points that matches with the plurality of second feature points is greater than or equal to a specific number; and
generate guide information for a person based on the detected direction, the detected position, and the determination that the number of feature points that matches with the plurality of second feature points is greater than or equal to the specific number.
