1. A heart valve assembly comprising:
a frame formed from a metallic material and that defines a gridded configuration;
a covering extending around a prosthetic heart valve for providing sealing to the heart valve,
wherein the covering is one of polyester, PTFE, ePTFE, or a polymer;
wherein the frame is secured to the covering by a plurality of stitches,
a first plurality of radially extending fibers that extend outwardly of the frame and are in contact with the frame;
a second plurality of radially extending fibers that extend from the covering and through the frame to form a seal positioned outwardly of the frame.
