1. A method for validating a set of cardiovascular parameter monitors comprising:
receiving a plurality of reference cardiovascular parameter datasets, wherein each reference cardiovascular parameter dataset is associated with a patient of a plurality of patients, wherein each reference cardiovascular parameter dataset is converted to a reference cardiovascular measurement during post-hoc analysis;
measuring a plurality of test cardiovascular parameter measurements using the set of cardiovascular parameter monitors, wherein measuring each test cardiovascular parameter measurement comprises, for each patient of the plurality of patients:
contemporaneously with receiving the reference cardiovascular parameter dataset associated with the patient, recording a time series of images of a body region of the patient using a cardiovascular parameter monitor in the set of cardiovascular parameter monitors;
determining a pulse waveform from the time series of images;
extracting a set of fiducials from the pulse waveform, wherein the set of fiducials comprise fit parameters associated with a plurality of fitting functions used to fit the pulse waveform; and
transforming the set of fiducials into the test cardiovascular parameter measurement;
validating the set of cardiovascular parameter monitors when a mean error or a standard deviation from a paired analysis of the plurality of reference cardiovascular measurements and the plurality of test cardiovascular parameter measurements is less than a statistical threshold;
when the set of cardiovascular parameter monitors is validated, measuring a new cardiovascular parameter measurement for a new patient using a cardiovascular parameter monitor in the validated set of cardiovascular parameter monitors; and
presenting the new cardiovascular parameter measurement at a display.
