1. An apparatus, comprising:
a memory; and
processing circuitry in communication with the memory and configurable to cause a user equipment (UE) to:
decode first and second physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) in a current frequency division duplex (FDD) subframe from a base station, wherein the first and second PDCCHs schedule an associated first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission and an associated second PDSCH transmission, respectively, within the current FDD subframe, wherein the first and second PDSCH transmissions are non-overlapping in time, and the second PDSCH transmission is after the first PDSCH transmission; and
generate a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) Acknowledgement (ACK)/Negative Acknowledgement (NACK) for the first PDSCH transmission for transmission via a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in the current FDD subframe.
