1. A method for receiving a downlink channel by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
detecting, on a scheduling cell for a cell, a downlink control information (DCI) format 1_2 that includes information regarding a start symbol S of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) on the cell and a length L for the PDSCH; and
receiving the PDSCH in L consecutive symbols starting from the start symbol S in a slot allocated for the PDSCH based on the DCI format 1_2,
wherein
based on the user equipment being configured with a reference of start and length indicator value (SLIV) for the DCI format 1_2: the start symbol S is relative to a start symbol of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion in which the DCI format 1_2 is detected; and
based on the user equipment being not configured with the reference of SLIV for the DCI format 1_2: the start symbol S is relative to a start of the slot allocated for the PDSCH, and
wherein the user equipment is not expected to be configured with the reference of SLIV for the DCI format 1_2 for the cell when a subcarrier spacing of the cell is different from a subcarrier spacing of the scheduling cell.
