1. A method performed by a Central Unit (CU) of a Radio Access Network (RAN) node in a wireless communication system, the method comprising,
establishing, via a DU of the RAN node, connection with a first wireless device and a second wireless device for a Multicast and/or Broadcast Service (MBS);
providing, via the DU, the MBS to the first wireless device by using a first transmission;
providing, via the DU, the MBS to the second wireless device by using a second transmission;
receiving, from the DU, a first switching message including status of the MBS for each of the first wireless device and the second wireless device;
determining to switch the first transmission to a third transmission only for the first wireless device for the MBS, based on the received status of the MBS; and
providing, via the DU, the MBS by using the third transmission to the first wireless device,
wherein the first transmission is one of unicast transmission or multicast transmission, and the third transmission is another one of unicast transmission or multicast transmission, and
wherein the second transmission is one of unicast transmission or multicast transmission.
