1. A method for redeeming a cashless gaming ticket, the method comprising:
receiving a cashless gaming ticket comprising encoded data representing a unique identifier associated with the cashless gaming ticket at a multi-function automated teller machine (“ATM”) via a ticket reading device at the multi-function ATM and reading the unique identifier from the encoded data;
validating the unique identifier by sending the unique identifier read at the multi-function ATM for comparison against codes in a redemption ticket database and receiving validation of the unique identifier at the multi-function ATM including information regarding a monetary value associated with the unique identifier;
receiving an input via an input device at the multi-function ATM to conduct a redemption to a bank card account transaction;
receiving bank card information at the multi-function ATM via a card reading device and transmitting a request for transfer of funds to said bank card account to a financial server;
receiving at said financial server said request for transfer of funds;
transmitting, from the financial server to a first bank a first request for said monetary value less a transaction fee to be credited to said bank card account of said user at a second bank, said request including information regarding said bank card account for use by said first bank in creating and transmitting to a financial network a second request to credit said monetary value to said bank card account of said user;
receiving confirmation at the financial server when the credit is applied to the bank card account; and
confirming at the multi-function ATM that the credit is applied to the bank card account.
