1. A method for assessing the accuracy of a model of a three-dimensional bone surface comprising:
creating the model of the three-dimensional bone surface for a portion of a patient's bone from imaging data;
determining one or more curvatures in the model along the three-dimensional bone surface;
identifying the one or more curvatures as being concave or convex; and
identifying deviations between the one or more curvatures and expected concave or convex areas in the anatomy of the patient.
