1. A glass comprising the following components in % by weight:

wherein the proportion (% by weight) component 1 comprises a sum proportion of SiO2 and P2O5,
wherein the proportion (% by weight) component 2 comprises a sum proportion MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO, ZnO, Al2O3, Sc2O3, Y2O3, La2O3 and Yb2O3,
wherein the proportion (% by weight) of component 3 comprises a sum proportion of Li2O, Na2O, K2O and Cs2O,
wherein the component 4 is F,
wherein the glass contains at least one X-ray absorbing component selected from the group consisting of: Y2O3, Yb2O3, La2O3, SrO, BaO, and Cs2O,
wherein the total content of B2O3, ZnO, ZrO2 and La2O3 is less than 20% by weight, and
wherein the glass contains less than 5% by weight of B2O3.
