1. A nested system, comprising:
a first rigidizing device comprising a plurality of layers, the first rigidizing device configured to be rigidized by applying pressure to compress a bladder layer against a rigidizing layer forming at least one layer of the plurality of layers of the first rigidizing device; and
a second rigidizing device configured to rigidize, the second rigidizing device nested with the first rigidizing device;
wherein the first and second rigidizing devices are configured to translate relative to one another and to alternately rigidize to propagate a shape along the nested system.
