22 Claims

1. A liquid and transparent blend of UV filters, of

(a) at least one solid UVA filter dissolved in

(b) at least one liquid UVB filter,

said blend comprising

(a1) about 9 to about 15 wt.-% avobenzone,

(a2) about 12 to about 25 wt.-% bemotrizinol,

(b1) about 20 to about 35 wt.-% octocrylene,

(b2) about 9 to about 15 wt.-% octisalate, and

(b3) about 9 to about 15 wt.-% homoslate,

on condition the amounts add to 100 wt.-%.
