1. A medical port comprising:
a faceplate comprising:
a main body having a through-hole formed therein, the through-hole being configured to receive a medical device through the through-hole; and
a fixing plate connected to the main body such that a gap is formed between the fixing plate and the main body;
an elastic member having a first end portion and a second end portion in an elongated direction of the elastic member, the elastic member having a body formed in a C-shape between the first end portion and the second end portion, the body of the elastic member having an increasing thickness in a radial direction of the elastic member from a faceplate-facing side of the body of the elastic member toward an opposite side of the body of the elastic member, the elastic member configured to clamp and fix a living tissue between the elastic member and the faceplate;
a string-shaped member fixed at a first end to the first end portion of the elastic member and extending from the elastic member through the faceplate; and
a moving member that is a flexible tubular member formed in a double tube shape, the moving member comprising:
a first end part that is fixed to the faceplate,
a second end part configured to extend into the gap of the faceplate, and
an inner tube and an outer tube that are interchanged with each other at a portion of the moving member between the first end part and the second end part,
wherein:
the elastic member is configured such that pulling of the string-shaped member through the faceplate in a direction opposite to the elastic member reduces an outer diameter of the C-shape of the elastic member relative to a central axis of the elastic member,
the elastic member and the first end of the string-shaped member are housed in a space defined between the inner tube and the outer tube of the moving member,
both the string-shaped member and the outer tube extend through the gap of the faceplate, and
the elastic member includes a hole that extends through the second end portion of the elastic member from the faceplate-facing side of the body of the elastic member to the opposite side of the body of the elastic member to receive the string-shaped member such that the string-shaped member extends from the elastic member through the hole and the gap of the faceplate.
