1. A system for real-time monitoring the amount and size of bubbles within an enclosed medium, said system comprising:
a piezoelectric element configured to surround said enclosed medium;
a plurality of transducers;
processing unit electrically connected to said piezoelectric element and said plurality of transducers, wherein said processing unit comprises:
a resonant frequency module that determines the resonant frequency within said enclosed medium based on electrical signals received from said piezoelectric element in order to generate a resonant electrical signal having a frequency equal to said resonant frequency and exciting said enclosed medium with said generated resonant electrical signal via said piezoelectric element;
a monitoring module that measures electrical signals from said piezoelectric element and said plurality of transducers;
an extraction module that establishes a relationship between said measured electrical signals and the amount and size of said bubbles;
a classifier module that receives data from said monitoring module, said data indicative of at least one of: the amount and size of said bubbles determined from said piezoelectric element and said plurality of transducers, wherein said classifier module further classifies said received data into different categories of said received data in order to determine the amount and size of bubbles within said enclosed medium.
