1. A method, comprising:
receiving, by an aerial drone comprising a processor, flight plan information comprising a flight route that enables the aerial drone to maintain a network connection during the flight route via base stations in a specified list of base stations that are defined as preferred for enabling the network connection;
flying, by the aerial drone, according to the flight route while maintaining the network connection during the flight route using the base stations;
wherein the flight plan information comprises specified frequency bands respectively associated with defined altitudes, and
wherein the flying comprises employing a specified frequency band of the specified frequency bands during a portion of the flight route associated with a defined altitude of the defined altitudes.
