1. A remote access device, comprising:
a motion sensor configured to detect a first, second, and third motion state of the remote access device and generate a first signal indicative of the first motion state, a second signal indicative of the second motion state, and a third signal indicative of the third motion state; and
a wireless transmitter configured to transition between a first operating mode and a second operating mode in response to the first signal, the second signal, and the third signal from the motion sensor, transition between the first operating mode and the second operating mode in response to a first change in the motion state between the first motion state to the second motion state, transition between the first operating mode and the second operating mode in response to a second change in the motion state between the first motion state and the third motion state, and transition between the first operating mode and the second operating mode in response to a third change in the motion state between the second motion state and the third motion state.
