1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium embodying a program that, when executed by at least one computing device, causes the at least one computing device to at least:
obtain at least one version of an advertisement from an advertiser;
obtain an indication of a respective condition under which the at least one version of the advertisement is generated for presentation, the respective condition being based at least in part on a digital coupon state parameter associated with a digital coupon for an item available for purchase over a network and a user state parameter, the user state parameter being based at least in part on a user interaction history of a user account in association with an item of the advertisement, and the digital coupon state parameter being based at least in part on a pending state, an active state, a clipped state, a redeemed state, an expired state, or an over-budget state of the digital coupon; and
configure a user interface to include the advertisement at a position in the user interface based at least in part on at least one of: the digital coupon state parameter or the user state parameter.
