1. A system, comprising:
a processor coupled to a memory that stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
generate source code of a service in a programming language automatically without human intervention with a metadata orchestrator based on metadata descriptive of a data store and desired interaction with the data store by the service, wherein the metadata orchestrator is coupled to a security adaptor to centralize access to and control of the data store and the metadata;
produce documentation automatically based on the metadata, wherein the documentation comprises at least one of application programming interface (API) data, data definitions, or an end-user help document; and
deploy the source code to a hosting environment.
