1. A method of producing methanol via dry reforming and methanol synthesis, the method comprising:
providing feed comprising methane and carbon dioxide to a dry reforming section in a vessel, the vessel comprising a vessel wall, wherein the dry reforming section and a methanol synthesis section are enclosed within the vessel in an interior of the vessel to inside of the vessel wall;
converting methane and carbon dioxide in the vessel into syngas comprising a molar ratio of hydrogen (H2) and carbon monoxide by dry reforming via dry reforming catalyst in the dry reforming section in the vessel;
injecting H2 into the syngas in the reactor vessel in response to specifying to increase a molar ratio of H2 to carbon monoxide of the syngas in the reactor vessel, wherein the H2 injected is injected into a discharge portion of the dry reforming section or into a heat exchanger in the vessel that receives the syngas from the dry reforming section;
cooling the syngas via the heat exchanger in the vessel, wherein the heat exchanger is disposed between the dry reforming section and the methanol synthesis section;
synthesizing methanol from the syngas discharged from the heat exchanger via methanol synthesis catalyst in the methanol synthesis section in the vessel;
discharging effluent from the vessel, the effluent comprising the methanol;
processing the effluent as discharged to remove components from the effluent to give the methanol as product, the components comprising H2, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide; and
recycling carbon dioxide removed from the effluent to the dry reforming section.
