1. A catalyst article for diesel NOx abatement, comprising:
a substrate; and
a washcoat layer coated on the substrate,
wherein the washcoat layer comprises metal-promoted molecular sieves, and
wherein the zeolitic surface area (ZSA) of the catalyst article is about 100 m2/g or greater.
