1. A method executed by a server of a cloud gaming system, comprising:
establishing a session of game play of a game and provide game content to a primary client device;
detecting a trigger event at the primary client device, the trigger event causing a discovery of one or more secondary client devices that are local to the primary client device;
generating device profile of each secondary client device that is local to the primary client device, the device profile identifying device attributes of the secondary client device;
matching the device attributes of the one or more secondary client devices to device attribute requirements for the game to identify select ones of the one or more secondary client devices with device capabilities for interacting with the game;
providing a handover option to the primary client device, the handover option including a list of the select ones of the secondary client devices for selection; and
establishing communication connection with a secondary client device selected from the list, in response to selection of the secondary client device, the establishing of communication connection includes switching streaming of game content to the selected secondary client device for rendering.
