1. A medical probe, comprising:
a flexible insertion tube comprising a proximal segment and a deflectable distal segment, and containing a plurality of lumens running longitudinally through the insertion tube, wherein the plurality of lumens are twisted only around each other in the proximal segment, and run parallel to each other in the deflectable distal segment, wherein the plurality of lumens comprise a first lumen and a second lumen; and
first and second wires running respectively through the first and second lumens and comprising respective first and second proximal ends, which deflect the deflectable distal segment when the respective proximal ends are pulled.
